What This Equipment Is Best Suited For

Our excavators and skid steers are best suited to removing roots, shrubs, soil, piles and established vegetation. They can scrape overgrown surfaces, pull woody weeds, dig out root systems, and load cleared material into a tipper for removal.

These machines are not slashers, mowers or mulchers. They are not suitable for slashing long grass or mowing lawn areas. If your job requires specialised mowing, mulching or slashing equipment, please contact a specialist contractor.

Buckets and loaders are designed for digging, scraping, loading and material movement — not for cutting standing grass or light vegetation. For thick, established vegetation with root systems, our excavators are the right choice.

Fire Season & Property Preparation

Hiring machinery can help reduce vegetation and clear firebreaks on your property. However, clearing vegetation alone does not make a property compliant with council or CFS (Country Fire Service) requirements.
